The Knott’s Berry Furmeet occurs at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. This is a quarterly meet-up and generally occurs four times per year: Spring (March/April), Summer (June/July), Fall (September/October), and Winter (December/January). To minimize conflict with other events, the meet is always held on a Sunday on the date in each timeframe voted upon by attendees. The date will always be confirmed at least three weeks in advance.
Unlike other furmeets, this event is less focused on furry activities and is more of a casual social gathering. It is about getting together and enjoying a day of fun with friends who share common interests. Generally, there will be a handful of scheduled “large group” activities during the day, but the rest of the time you will be welcome to hang out with the main group or split off on your own. While furry clothing and accessories are welcome and encouraged, actual costumes and fursuits are prohibited due to park rules.
Purchasing admission to Knott’s Berry Farm is required in order to attend this event. Please visit knotts.com to view ticket options. If you plan to attend this event more than once or will likely visit the park on your own, a season pass provides especially good value.
