Welcome to the Rose Bowl Fur Meet.

Round logo for the Rose Bowl Furmeet, featuring a kitty holding a rose.RBFM — Founded by Takoda, is a monthly meeting of like minded individuals who like to hang out and play games together in the park. We are mostly a cosplay/furry group, so costumes are welcome, but not a requirement. We welcome both older and younger people, including parents. It’s a great way for your child to explore the cosplay/furry community in a safe and fun environment. As we are run by adults, there isn’t any drama, just a lot of fun for everyone who attends.

Our meet runs once a month from September through June from 11am to 6pm. The dates however, can be all over the place, depending on the schedule of the Rose Bowl and the Aquatic Center. We like to not be there when other events are going on, as the parking is crazy. We try however, to run the meets on the 3rd or 4th weekend if possible. We will post all of the updates related to the schedule on So Cal Fur’s website AND our twitter, Facebook and Telegram group.

Our event is right by the stage. Parking Lot I is the closest. Simply skirt the tennis courts and make a left on the path.

We are located in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center, which is on the campus of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California. We are conveniently located near mass transit and the 134 and 210 freeways, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains.

When you arrive, there is plenty of free parking (some shaded) near the baseball diamond. Our event is located in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center (360 N Arroyo Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91103) just behind the baseball diamond. Look for the multiple pop up tents and furries, can’t miss us! We run from Feb through June and we’re back again, September through December.

The facility has tennis courts, baseball field and running water bathrooms, big enough to change in. There are also two playgrounds, picnic tables and plenty of shade under the big trees.

Our Meet Events Include:

  • Furry Bouncy house
  • Team Tug of War
  • Nurf gun fun
  • Scooter races
  • Box races
  • Frisbee
  • Dodgeball
  • Sharks and minnows
  • Furry playground
  • Card games for the people at the tables
  • Art raffles and giveaways
  • Snacks and water

Due to the cost of pizza, for 2020, we’re asking people pay $5 for 2 slices of their choice. Pizza will be served promptly at 1PM and once it’s gone, there will be no more.

We will have two raffles for 2020.

The $5 raffle will be for an artistic liberty drawing of whatever you wish, done by one of our amazing furry artists.

The $10 raffle will be for a chance to wear a full fursuit at the event! The winner will be able to spend the afternoon wearing one of our amazing full body fursuits and get the experience of a lifetime in doing so.

This whole thing costs money, so we suggest people bring $5 for our art raffle which features local artists. If you can’t donate at the meet, you can also donate on paypal, send to . All donations will go towards food and supplies.

This is an safe for work, ALL AGE group meet. Please do not bring art or talk about NSFW topics at the meet. You’re welcome to walk away from the meet and discuss anything you wish.

Safe for work costumes of any kind are welcome, cosplay, furry, face painting, doesn’t matter. Most people do not have costumes however, so don’t feel like you need to dress up to participate.
